So this week at the 78th Independence Day, Ola the largest ev scooter company in India held the event named “ Sankalp” which was live streamed on YouTube on 15th August recently after their IPO got released and they became public.
In that event they launched their newly and highly anticipated sports bike series named “ Roadster” and with that they showed many projects and products and one of the most notable things was the introduction of their own built “Ola Bharat Cell “ made in India.
The main highlight of this event was this New Battery which is the new 4680 Bharat cell which will replace the traditional 2170 cells used by all EV manufacturers…
So, let's take a quick look at what's the new Buzz about the new 4680 cell.
So, Ola was already working on making batteries for their upcoming EV so that they can bring down the cost of their Scooters and bikes. And after many R & D & 70 patents they introduced their first Batch of Bharat cell which will be implemented in all their vehicles starting from the next yr.
Mr Bhavesh Aggarwal , CEO of Ola Electric and Cab, on stage showed their first ready to use battery pack made out of the newly 4680 Bharat cell .
With this cell, they have achieved a great battery output and great amount of energy as far as 10% and achieved faster charging technology.
They also introduced their demo and future project from where one can light up their house and full home just by putting out their Bharat cell from their EVs and plug it into their basement of the House . While still it's an concept, but future looks amazing!!!
